Gambettes is a pair of leg warmers in 3/1 rib, stretchy but not too much, with a set of increases at the back to fit the shape of the leg.
To wear at home or outside over tights or in a boot. Enough to keep your legs warm too!

Final ankle circumference: 5.5 (6 - 7) 8 (9.5 - 10.75) inches or 14 (15 - 17,5) 20 (24 - 27,5) cm.
Final calf circumference: 8 (9.5 - 10.25) 11.75 (13.75 - 16) inches or 20 (24 - 26) 30 (35 - 41) cm.
Final height 8.75 (9.5 - 14) 15.75 (17.5 - 17.5) inches or 22 (24 - 36) 40 (44 - 44) cm.
Recommended ease: 0 to 2 inches or 0 to 5 cm of negative ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and remove your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number. 
 
GAUGE: 32 sts x 36 rows for 4 x 4 in or 10 x 10 cm in 3/1 rib not stretched.
 
YARN: the pattern is knitted with a lace type yarn and a fingering type yarn held together. Approximately 220 (255 - 390) 440 (530 - 575) yards or 200 (250 - 350) 400 (480 - 525) m. 
It can also be knitted with a single strand of DK yarn. 
 
NOTIONS: suggested needles sizes 3 mm/US 2.5, tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker. 
 
NOTES: the pattern is knitted KMS (mohair, silk - 50g = 420m) and MSW (Merinos sw - 100g = 400m) from Yarn By Simone in Toffee color.
It is possible to make plain, striped or faded versions.
Remember to weigh your wool at the start to estimate the total quantity to divide in two for each leg. The height remains adjustable.
